Referrals & Mental Health Care Plans
No referral required. You're welcome to book a session at any time.
At present, Medicare rebates are available for psychologists, occupational therapists, and social workers. Counsellors, psychotherapists, and relationship therapists are not yet eligible for Medicare rebates. Whilst a Mental Health Care Plan allows for 10 subsidised sessions per year which can be helpful for short term support, psychotherapy fees are lower than psychologists and remain consistent across the year, which can make ongoing support more accessible.
Policies
24-Hour Cancellation Policy
Life can be unpredictable. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give at least 24 hours' notice so that the time can be offered to someone else. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full session fee.
Confidentiality
What you share in sessions is treated with deep respect and confidentiality. Your therapist is legally and ethically bound to keep your information private, except in rare situations where there is concern for your safety or the safety of others.
